Clients don't have to log in to ask for something. With email intake, a message they send to your support address becomes a tracked request on your board — the same spine everything else flows through.
How it works
Managello polls a mailbox you connect over IMAP. Each incoming email is turned into a request, matched to the right client by the sender's address, with the body and any attachments captured. From there you triage it like any other request — convert it to a task or a change request, or close it.
Setting it up
Connect the mailbox you want to receive client email at (for example hello@youragency.com) using its IMAP details. Managello checks it on a schedule and ingests new messages automatically.
Replies thread back
When you or the client reply, the message threads back onto the original request as a comment — so the whole conversation stays in one place instead of scattering across inboxes. Client-visible replies reach the client; internal comments never do.
Tips
- Point your public "contact us" or "support" address at the connected mailbox so nothing gets missed.
- Give it a dedicated mailbox rather than a personal inbox, so intake is predictable and auditable.
